The Snow Queen - Book Cover

This illustration is a sample book cover of "The Snow Queen." I first sketched out the concept then traced the lines in Illustrator with the pen tool. I took those shapes into Photoshop and colored the in with my favorite brush tool which is where the texture comes from.
